IWC's "Lake Tahoe" edition takes the Top Gun concept — already inspired by naval aviation — and renders it in white, evoking the winter landscape surrounding the US Navy's TOPGUN training program at Naval Air Station Fallon.

The 44.5mm case is crafted from white ceramic, a technically demanding material to produce in this color, paired with a black dial for high-contrast legibility. The layout follows IWC's classic pilot's chronograph architecture: 12-hour and 30-minute counters, running seconds, and a day-date window at 3 o'clock. It's presented on a white textile strap.

Powering the watch is the IWC Caliber 69380, a column-wheel chronograph movement with day-date display and a 46-hour power reserve.

This example is in very good condition, complete with box and papers, card dated 2024. There are a couple of small marks on the case — visible in photos, including one on the upper left lug at approximately 11 o'clock — but the crystal, dial, and hands are flawless, and the strap remains in excellent condition. Verified running strong and accurate on the timegrapher. IWC warranty, which is transferable, runs to Oct 13, 2022.

For the collector drawn to a genuinely distinctive execution of the Top Gun line, the white ceramic case gives the Lake Tahoe real presence on the wrist — a clear departure from IWC's usual black ceramic sports pieces.
