Bell & Ross launched the BR01 in 2005 with an idea borrowed straight from the cockpit: take an aircraft's circular instrument and drop it into a square case, so the dial reads with the same no-nonsense clarity as an altimeter. It's a design language built for legibility first — oversized Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12, bold luminescent hands, nothing on the dial that doesn't earn its place. The 46mm PVD-coated steel case still wears that intent on the wrist.
Under the hood of this 2011 example is the ETA 2892 — a Swiss automatic movement that's earned its reputation over decades for being accurate and easy to live with, running at 28,800 vph with roughly 40 hours of reserve. It's a workhorse and running strong.
We had this one fully serviced in June 2026 — complete movement overhaul, crown and stem replaced — and it's running beautifully. The movement is covered under warranty by WatchCheck for a period of two years; WatchCheck service papers will be provided to the buyer.
Note there are two nicks in the case on the non-crown side, visible in the accompanying photo. The rest of the case is in very good condition. Dial and crystal are flawless. Everything else presents very well for a 2011 example. Complete with original box, which is peeling, and papers including dated warranty card. Includes two additional straps: a B&R nylon strap and an aftermarket leather strap, both in like new condition.
